Declaration of Intent to Contest for the Position of Director of Information

Dear Sir/Madam,

I, Uwah Chiamaka Perpertua, a 300-level student of the Department of Chemistry Education, Faculty of Education, hereby write to formally declare my intention to contest for the position of Director of Information in the forthcoming Student Union Government (SUG) election.

As a student with a strong passion for effective communication and transparency, I understand the importance of keeping the student body well-informed and engaged. If granted the opportunity to serve, I am committed to:

Ensuring the prompt and accurate dissemination of information to all students through appropriate and accessible platforms,

Promoting transparency in all SUG activities, decisions, and announcements,

Enhancing student engagement through regular updates and open communication,

Coordinating publicity and awareness campaigns for all SUG events and initiatives.
I believe that the position of Director of Information is key to fostering trust and unity within the student community. With sincerity, dedication, and professionalism, I am prepared to serve and represent the voice of the students effectively.
